Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is the best choice for most South Jersey homes right now. It's 100% waterproof, handles the humidity, installs over almost any subfloor without extensive prep, and the quality products are nearly indistinguishable from hardwood. It's what we recommend for kitchens, basements, and any space with kids or pets.
Tile flooring is the standard for bathrooms, laundry rooms, and entryways. The installation is more labor-intensive but the result is a floor that will outlast the house.
Laminate is a cost-effective option for bedrooms and low-traffic areas where budget is the primary concern. It's not waterproof, so we don't recommend it for basements or bathrooms — and we'll tell you that upfront.
