Avalon has earned its reputation — "Cooler by a Mile" isn't just a tagline, it's a promise the borough has kept for generations. The homes here range from historic Cape May County cottages to substantial newer construction on lots that command attention. Property values in Avalon are among the highest on the Jersey Shore, and owners expect construction quality to match. Legacy Contracting builds custom decks and handles complete home renovations for Avalon property owners with the experience and craftsmanship this market demands.
Shore construction is a different discipline. Salt air, high winds, UV intensity, and seasonal moisture cycles require material choices and installation details that inland work simply doesn't. We build for the Avalon environment — not just for the permit inspection.
Permits in Avalon
Most decks, roofs, additions and remodels in Avalon need a permit from the Borough of Avalon Construction Office. We pull it for you and schedule the inspections.
